NCH VideoPad Video Editor:
I use this software to compile clips, audio, text, visuals etc. to get a basic understanding of the progression through the final video.
This is because it is easy to use with its drag and drop features and the ability to export with user friendly selection boxes for quality control.
Adobe Premiere Pro:
I use this software to make cuts and effects with transitions to enhance the quality of the final video.
This is because it is displays a wide range of effects and allows the use of keyframes to better control the sequencing and timing of effects.
